ENCE qualifies for DreamHack Open

Esports Asia News
ENCE have won the second closed qualifier for DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer, which will be held in Jönköping from June 18-21, and are the final team who will attend the $100,000 event. 16 teams from across Europe spent their Sunday competing via the second closed qualifier to attend DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer, an eight team, $100,000 tournament held in Jönköping, Sweden from June 18-21. With eight teams having been invited into the bracket and eight teams having fought their way through an open pre-qualifier, the round-of-sixteen matches proceeded generally as expected but it was in the round-of-eight where some upset results occurred such as Space Soldiers defeating No team and Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen’s Tricked taking down AGG. ENCE survived the showdown against “God HUNDEN” and his team With both Tricked and ENCE defeating their opponents in the semifinals 2-1 (Phenomenon and Space Soldiers respectively), the two sides met in the grand final for a best-of-three showdown that would determine the final team to attend the $100,000 event. Things at first looked as if they would go Peter “Inzta” Kragelund & co.’s way as the Danish team claimed Train with a score of 16-10, but it was ENCE who fought back on the other two maps and claimed them quite easily: 16-5 on Mirage and 16-6 on Dust2. The finalised team list for DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer is therefore:
NiP Astralis Immortals GODSENT
Epsilon ENCE SK HellRaisers
