[hkes_show_google_ad] The Unicorns of Love will be fielding Samuel “Samux” Fernandez Fort as their starting AD carry for the 2017 EU LCS Spring Split instead of Kim “Veritas” Kyoung-min, the organization announced Wednesday. In a Facebook post, the organization stated that Veritas has chosen to stay in Korea and does not want to play in Europe anymore. As a result, the organization had one week to find a replacement for him. “He feels homesick and misses his friends, his family and overall a Korean environment,” the organization stated in the Facebook post. “According to that, he doesn’t want to play in Europe anymore, and is leaving the team. He will keep playing in Korea, with a Korean team. “We are sad we were not able to help Veritas. It’s also pity he warned us so late about his intentions.” While with the Unicorns, Veritas helped the team place fourth in the 2016 summer playoffs, then narrowly missed out on worlds following a 3-2 loss to Splyce in the last round of the 2016 Europe Regional Finals.
