Taiwan’s ahq e-Sports Club swept Machi E-Sports 3-0 in the LoL Masters Series Regional Finals, qualifying for the 2016 League of Legends World Championship as the LMS’ second seed. They were undefeated in their qualifying run, beating out Hong Kong Esports and Machi. By Game 3, ahq had wholly outclassed Machi and ahq top laner Chen “Ziv” Yi put on a showstopping and stylish Ekko performance, ending with a 6/1/10 scoreline. This will be ahq’s third straight appearance at the World Championship. They join 2016 LMS Summer champions Flash Wolves as LMS representatives. Last year at the 2015 World Championship, ahq made it out of Group B with a 3-3 record, but were swept by SK Telecom T1 in the Quarterfinals.
