[hkes_show_google_ad] SK Telecom T1 AD carry Bae “Bang” Jun-sik has achieved his 1,000th career kill in Game 1 of SKT’s Week 6 match against KT Rolster. The milestone kill came at 16:59 in Game 1 on Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong’s Thresh during a bottom lane teamfight that put SKT on the board, with Yoon ‘Peanut‘ Wang-ho racking up a second kill shortly after to make it 3-2. Bang’s Ezreal finished the game with a 4/0/9 statline and SKT ended up taking the series 2-1. The 20-year-old Korean almost reached the milestone in Week 5’s match against Samsung Galaxy, coming away from Game 2 with 999 kills after dying to SSG ADC Lee “Stitch” Seung-ju at the last minute. While some have accused Bang’s teammate, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, of stealing kills, Faker himself told Inven Global’s Byungho “Haao” Kim that it was more important to prioritize the game. “He kept asking me to give him kills, and I said no because I thought it was too risky,” Faker said. “He should have done so after at least dealing more damage on enemy Nexus, but he just kept trying to dive.” Bang joined SKT in 2014, winning the LoL World Championship with them two years in a row in both 2015 and 2016 [hkes_show_google_ad]
