A young man, who I think recognized the coach, paid for his meal. I was able to feel what it really means to support someone, how it could make the fans happy to see me perform in the game. I think it’s a good and fun experience. I noticed a lot of cool and influential people as celebrities or streamers, so I was able to feel what that means.” On the highly publicized denial of his 1,000th kill during the match against Samsung Galaxy on Thursday, Bang said that could have been a blessing in disguise. “It’s disappointing, but it’s going to happen at some point,” he said. “I think it’s actually better, since I’ll be more focused for my next game.” In regards to his character switch during his recent streams on Twitch, Bang continued the personal narrative of putting the streaming persona and his persona on stage as two different entities. “I don’t like being compared to (my stream persona),” he said. “I hope people don’t compare that third-rate streamer with a first-rate professional like myself.
