Former SK Telecom T1 jungler and three-time world champion Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong has joined Vici Gaming, the organization announced Wednesday. Bengi comes to Vici after three years on SKT, where he earned a reputation as one of the best junglers in professional League of Legends. While Bengi only played 14 games during the 2016 LCK Summer regular season, SKT brought in Bengi for key games at Worlds, and he contributed to all three of SKT’s wins during their Grand Finals series against Samsung Galaxy. Bengi played 10 games at Worlds, winning eight of them. Bengi is replacing Choi “DanDy” In-kyu as Vici’s starting jungler, though DanDy has yet to announce if he is joining a new team in China, Korea or another region. Vici placed 5th-6th in both the 2016 LPL spring and summer playoffs, then took last place in the 2016 Chinese Regional Finals. Bengi is the second former SKT player to join Vici, and will be playing alongside ex-SKT mid laner Lee “Easyhoon” Ji-hoon.
