CLG CS:GO roster changes

Esports Asia News
CLG have announced that Tarik “tarik” Celik and coach Faruk “pita” Pita will leave the team after ELEAGUE. The move comes just days after CLG failed to defend their Legend Major status after crashing out of ESL One Cologne – which they attended with coach Faruk “pita” Pita as a stand-in – following defeats against Gambit and dignitas. Both Tarik “tarik” Celik and Pita will make their last appearance for CLG in ELEAGUE, where the team will try to secure a spot in the playoffs via the last-chance qualifier. In a Facebook post, CLG explained that Celik will take a break from competitive gaming as he wishes “to spend time with his family and to stream from home” before returning to action in 2017. tarik set to leave the team As for Pita, the Bosnian coach has expressed a desire to return to Europe to be closer to his family – a decision that is also in line with the interests of the players, who allegedly believe that the team “is in need of a fresh start from the top down.” CLG have been without a stable five-man roster since mid-May, when they parted ways with Jacob “FugLy” Medina. As weeks went by, the uncertainty around the team grew, and in the end they resorted to fielding Pita as their fifth man in ELEAGUE and ESL One Cologne. Shortly before the German Major, CLG were involved in a player trade with Team Liquid, securing Kenneth “koosta” Suen as Josh “jdm64” Marzano went in the opposite direction. CLG are already consulting “players, experts in the scene, and new staffing options” as they look to begin the process of restructuring their backroom staff and roster after ELEAGUE. The team’s roster will be depleted to the following three men:
Stephen “reltuC” Cutler  James “hazed” Cobb  Kenneth “koosta” Suen
