Samsung Galaxy mid laner Lee “Crown” Min-ho gave a bleak overview of his team’s current state. Crown told Daily eSports’ Lee Yoon-ji about his preparation for the upcoming League Champions Korea summer split and shared a chilling evaluation of his team’s current form and what it must do in order to improve. “I want to defeat all the other teams, but I don’t think it’ll be easy,” he said. “Right now, the chances of us winning the championship are zero percent at our current level of skill.” Most well known in Korea as one of the hardest working and most serious professional players in the LCK, Crown’s performance during the spring split on meta champions such as Syndra or Taliyah were explosively effective at times. The reason, Crown said, is because he uses a champion once he “does well with them during scrims.” He then clarified that “doing well” means he has the confidence to carry the game. As for the current status of practice, he didn’t have anything rosy to say, either, breaking it down and saying what he’s planning to do in order to overcome his current difficulties. “Practice isn’t going well right now,” he said. “I’m thinking of polishing my skills from the basics.” Samsung, the runner up at last year’s League of Legends World Championship, finished second in the regular season during the spring split and reached the semifinals of the playoffs before losing 3-0 to KT Rolster.
