Digital Chaos defeat compLexity to qualify for The Summit 5

Digital Chaos have defeated compLexity 3-2 to secure their spot at The Summit 5 in the Grand Final of the American qualifier. compLexity took Game 1, defeating Digital Chaos with two kills for every one of DC’s and taking eight towers compared to DC’s three. With a 6/1/12 and 6/1/10 KDA respectively, Aliwi “w33” Omar’s Phantom Lancer and David “Moo” Hull’s Batrider carried DC in Game 2 to even up the series. DC carried the momentum from their win in Game 2 into Game 3, taking a win and the series lead in 38 minutes. 8/0/15 and 6/0/17 performances from Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok’s Lone Druid and w33’s Jakiro ensured Chaos’ victory in the mid game. Game 4 was decided after compLexity took Roshan twice forcing a GG from Chaos after 38 minutes. Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin’s Invoker provided almost all of coL’s firepower for the game, he finished with 14/2/8 KDA. The win evened up the series, forcing a Game 5. The last game of the series featured strong performances from Resolut1on’s Clinkz and w33’s Invoker, they had KDA’s of 5/0/9 and 8/3/12 respectively. Digital Chaos will join Wings Gaming as the first two qualified teams for The Summit 5, who qualified earlier in the day with a 3-2 win over Vici Gaming Reborn. The remaining regional spots will be determined by the end of the week after the European and SEA qualifiers. Four more slots have been reserved for direct invites to the event.
