Echo Fox adds Mash to League of Legends roster as substitute

Esports Asia News

Echo Fox added Brandon “Mash” Phan to its League of Legends roster as a substitute ahead of the North American League Championship Series (NA LCS) summer split. Mash is listed with Echo Fox in Riot Games’ contract database and is also on the lolesports page previewing Echo Fox’s Week 1 matchup of the NA LCS against FlyQuest. Mash is listed as a sub but could theoretically share the AD Carry role with Yuri “Keith” Jew, the incumbent starter from the spring split. Mash is a longtime League of Legends veteran who has played for more than 10 teams in his career. He most recently played for Gold Coin United in the spring split of the North American Challenger Series. Before that, he played for Team Impulse/Phoenix1 during the 2016 season. Gold Coin United failed to qualify for the LCS after making the summer promotion tournament. Echo Fox, meanwhile, struggled throughout the spring split and finished eighth with a record of 6-12, managing to avoid relegation by one game.
