Fnatic has parted ways with three members of their Dota 2 roster as they look to rebuild their Dota 2 team around carry and team captain Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and offlaner Chong Xin “Ohaiyo” Khoo. The announcement on Fnatic’s website Wednesday confirmed that the organization would part ways with Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Mampusti, Adam Erwann Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein and Zheng “MidOne” Yeik Nai, noting that “it has been mutually agreed that this is the right time for the players and Fnatic to part ways, allowing for rest and to explore new opportunities.” “Moving forward with Ohaiyo and our captain, Mushi, we’ll be staying in the region seeking to rebuild in good time for the 2016 Fall Major,” Fnatic’s announcement explained. MidOne’s cited his desire to try new things in the competitive scene after spending nine months with Fnatic, while DJ said he was considering playing locally in The Philippines. 343 said he just needed a break from competition. “If people are wondering on why we would drop these fantastic players after finishing well at TI: all three of them are departing on their own accord due to personal reasons,” manager Eric “reinn” Khor explained.
