Fnatic have added former Dream Team substitute AD carry Giedrius “DoubleG” Dagys as a new substitute. DoubleG is now listed as an official sub on Fnatic’s website, along with Jorge “Werlyb” Casanovas, who played with Fnatic’s challenger team in the EU Challenger Summer Qualifier. Johan “Klaj” Olson is no longer listed as a sub. “Hailing from Lithuania, Giedrius ‘DoubleG’ Dagys is an up and coming Challenger ADC with something to prove,” Fnatic says in DoubleG’s bio. “Having played Challenger Series for a short spell in North America, DoubleG is back in Europe as a sub for FNATIC. With strong mechanical skill and a driven mindset, DoubleG is one to keep an eye on.” Before playing for Dream Team, DoubleG was part of Astral Authority and helped that team qualify for the 2016 NA Challenger Series Spring Split. Dream Team then signed Astral’s roster, but only started DoubleG in one series against Team Liquid Academy, which they lost. DoubleG briefly played for EU Challenger hopeful teams inFerno eSports and Caseking Gaming, but never qualified for the EU CS. Fnatic are currently second in the EU LCS standings with a 5-2-3 record, second only to G2 Esports. Their next match will be against Vitality on July 8.
