FNS rejoins CLG

Esports Asia News

[hkes_show_google_ad] Pujan “FNS” Mehta has left Team SoloMid to rejoin Counter Logic Gaming, according to a report from Jarek “DeKay” Lewis on Slingshot Esports Tuesday. FNS previously played with CLG for the entirety of 2015, and then played with TSM for the entirety of 2016. He was released on Dec. 15, but due to roster restriction he later competed with TSM at the ESEA Season 23 Global Premier Challenge, where the team finished in last place. The news closely follows the controversy between TSM owner Andy “Reginald” Dinh and player Sean “sgares” Gares. He was signed to TSM on Dec. 15, however sgares was released eight days later after he and the rest of the TSM players signed an open letter protesting the Professional Esports Association’s push for an exclusive North American CS:GO league. Reginald has since attempted to defend his decision to drop sgares including an hour-long interview with Duncan “Thorin” Shields and numerous responses on TwitLonger. Both TSM and CLG were unable to qualify for the upcoming ELEAGUE Major 2017, but both teams will compete in the North American leg of the upcoming season for ESL Pro League. Here’s what CLG’s reported roster would look like:
  • Steve “reltuC” Cutler
  • Kenneth “koosta” Suen
  • Ethan “nahtE” Arnold
  • Yassine “Subroza”‘ Taoufik
  • Pujan “FNS” Mehta
