Gambit Gaming have announced that Vadim “DavCost” Vasilyev will play for the team in the last-chance qualifier for ELEAGUE. The 20-year-old Spirit player will fill in for Ivan “spaze” Obrezhan, who is unable to compete in this stage due to health issues. Should Gambit advance to the playoffs, which will run from July 21 to 30, then the team will field their full roster, the Russian organisation added. Vadim “DavCost” Vasilyev is mostly known for his long spell on FlipSid3 Tactics as a stand-in, attending three Majors with the team. Since his departure, he has played for teams like YP and Arcade, with the latter having signed for Spirit last month.
