H2K signs Freeze

LoL: H2K picks up Freeze H2k-Gaming has picked up Ales “Freeze” Knezinek as their new AD carry, the organization announced Saturday. Freeze will be replacing Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou. He most recently played for Renegades in the NA LCS in the Spring Split. Freeze joined Renegades in January, after leaving the Copenhagen Wolves in November. While with Renegades, Freeze placed eighth in the regular season and helped the team re-qualify for the Summer Split. While with the Wolves, he placed 10th in the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split, automatically relegating the team to the Challenger Series. “From his early days on the big stage with NiP to his most recent time with Renegades, Freeze has always treated viewers with his signature aggressive play-style,” H2K stated in a Facebook post. “With the recent influx of new champions and game format changes, we think that the new meta will be an exciting time for H2K. We’re counting on Freeze to spark some new rivalries in the bot lane and to achieve our goal of proudly representing the EU at Worlds this year.” FORG1VEN parted ways with H2K last month, reportedly due to poor in-game synergy with the rest of the team. On Twitter, he said he would skip out on the Summer Split, but he plans to play in the first season of 2017, on either an EU or NA team. H2K placed second in the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split, and fourth in the Spring Playoffs.   [Source: TheScore  Esports]
