Simon “heavenTime” Jeon has joined Echo Fox as their new coach ahead of Week 5 of the NA LCS Summer Split, as revealed in a Yahoo Esports video interview with Yuri “KEITH” Jew conducted by Travis Gafford. Echo Fox’s previous coach was David “Cop” Roberson, who parted ways with the squad last week. In the interview, Gafford and KEITH discuss Echo Fox’s poor start to the split, and the player is hopeful that a change in coaching staff will help them improve. “This week compared to like two weeks ago, we’ve improved a lot,” KEITH says. “I hope that if we just keep improving at this rate, hopefully faster, then we can make playoffs.” heavenTime has had some experience playing on the pro stage, as a substitute support for Team Impulse in late 2015, and as jungler for Team LolPro in the 2014 Summer Split of the North American Challenger Series. The team took 4th place in the Summer Playoffs. KEITH noted he has also coached collegiate teams. It is unclear whether heavenTime is a permanent addition to the squad. As KEITH puts it, “We’ll have to see how he does, because he’s new so far and we’re trying him out.” [Source: hltv]
