Adapted from Slingshot Esports Rami “Inori” Charagh will move from Phoenix1 to Team Liquid, the organizations announced Thursday. Pheonix1
tweeted a goodbye note to Inori that included a thank you letter from members of the team and a short
video package for the jungler. “Rami was one of the players I really wanted to pick up for the team, right from the start when I first got hired by P1” Phoenix1 coach Charlie Lipsie said in the tweet. “To Inori, I know you’re not part of the team now, but you know you’re always welcome at my house.” Inori was one of two players left from Phoenix1’s roster last summer and one of the key players around which the team wanted to build, as co-owner Michael Moore
told Slingshot in February. Although visa issues plagued Inori and only allowed him to play half a split, Moore said that he still showed “a lot of potential.” Team Liquid
released a separate announcement welcoming Inori and mentioning the team will make a 10-person roster, which it briefly tried at the start of 2016. “My league ID before joining P1 was actually ‘Liquid Inori’ so I think it’ll be cool to finally go by that tag for once,” Inori said in a statement. “I’m excited to work with Steve and Cain — I think Cain is an amazing coach and I look forward to working with him.” Phoenix1 has been in roster upheaval since the start of the summer split of the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS). The team has started three junglers — Inori, William “Meteos” Hartman and Michael “MikeYeung” Yeung, who started Week 3. The team also added Alex “Xpecial” Chu as support and has started the summer split 0-6 after finishing the spring split in third place.
