Kikis, Amazing sign with Mysterious Monkeys

Esports Asia News
Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek and Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider have joined the Mysterious Monkeys, the organization announced Monday. Kikis will replace Park “Jisu” Jin-Chul in the top lane, and Amazing will take over for Leon “Lamabear” Krüger in the jungle. Jisu and Lamabear have since declared their free agency through Twitter. Amazing and Kikis previously played for Fnatic Academy and were part of the team that qualified for the European LCS, only to be replaced when Ninjas in Pyjamas purchased the slot and fielded a different roster. Interestingly enough, the move sets up a match between the players and their former parent organization, Fnatic, this weekend. “Excited to be able to play LCS this split and represent the MM Organization,” Amazing wrote in a statement. “They show a lot of promise for a newly bought team that hasn’t set foot on the LCS stage before, and really do seem to care about their players and staff. It’ll be interesting to see where we’ll end up, but helping the maximize their potential and get out of the relegation zone will be the most important goal for my tenure here. (I) hope that we can make it happen, and I do hope that I can grow further as a player and person in my seventh LCS split.” The Monkeys are currently at the bottom of Group B with a record of 0-4.
