LoL: MSI to be held in China MSI 2016 will be heading to Shanghai China, according to the most recent Riot Games announcement! This will be the first major international event to be held in China ever since the 2013 All Stars. For this year, Riot has decided to expand the Group Stage on May 4-8 to a double round-robin format, meaning twice as many games. After Group Stage, the teams will move to the Best-of-5 (Bo5) Semifinals and Finals on May 13-15. At the end of the tournament, one team will walk away with the title of MSI Champion.
