CSGO: Maikelele leaves FaZe
Mikail “Maikelele” Bill has announced via Twitter that he has parted ways with FaZe Clan with immediate effect. The announcement comes in the aftermath of FaZe’s disappointing group stage exit at MLG Columbus following defeats against Team Liquid and fnatic. The European mixture had made quite an impact at DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca, where they were within touching distance of reaching the final, but since then they have been on a downwards trajectory. Since joining FaZe from G2, the team have finished 5th-6th at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig, 7th-8th at IEM Katowice and 9th-12th at MLG Columbus, results that have now triggered the first roster change since November, when Philip “aizy” Aistrup was signed as a replacement for Dennis “dennis” Edman. On Twitter, Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, who was FaZe’s worst performer in Columbus, on a 0.74 rating, promised that he would shed more light on this matter when he returned home from the United States. FaZe are now in a race against time to find a last player in time for DreamHack Masters Malmö, which will take place in less than two weeks, with $250,000 on the line.
