Galen “Moon” Holgate will be Team Liquid’s starting jungler for Week 1 of the NA LCS Summer Split, the organization announced Wednesday.

Moon will be replacing Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett, who was recently suspended by Team Liquid for “insubordinate behaviour.” According to Riot Games’ Fantasy LCS page, Dardoch is suspended for Weeks 1 and 2 of the split, meaning he could play again as early as Week 3. Moon signed with Team Liquid as part of Team Liquid Academy, the organization’s challenger roster, in May. Prior to that, he was NRG Esports’ starting jungler, and finished the split with a 2.85 KDA across 16 games, primarily playing Eilise. NRG placed 5th with a 9-9 record. “I haven’t had that much time with the new roster, the main team, but the first few weeks it’ll mainly be us gelling, and me figuring out the playstyle, figuring out how to communicate with everybody,” Moon said in the announcement video. “But I definitely expect us to be a really strong team going into the split.” Team Liquid’s first match of the Summer Split will be against Team EnVyUs on June 4.   [Source: TheScore Esports]
