The 2016 NA LCS Summer Finals will be held in Toronto, Riot Games announced Monday — the first major event for the esport to be held in Canada.
The battle to be North America’s top seed at Worlds will take place at the Air Canada Centre on Aug. 27-28. North America’s second seed at Worlds will be determined by the team that collects the most World Championship Points throughout the spring and summer splits. The final seed will be determined the following week at the NA LCS Regional Qualifier at the NA LCS Studio Sept. 3-5. NA’s top four teams from the summer playoffs will be competing in a series of best-of-five matches, with the third place match being played on Aug. 27 and the grand finals played on Aug. 28.
