Na`Vi kept their Summit 5 dreams alive with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Fnatic in the lower bracket. Fnatic’s Game 1 Morphling pick didn’t work out too well when Na`Vi’s own Alchemist and Timbersaw got out of control. The two farmed cores were simply too hard for Fnatic to kill and helped Na`Vi take the series lead. Fnatic picked Timbersaw for MidOne in the series’ second game, while Na`Vi placed their faith in Ditya Ra’s Terrorblade. The game was incredibly back and forth for the first 20 minutes, but Fnatic’s two invisible heroes had free reign when Sonneiko’s Bounty Hunter lost his Gem of True Sight. With that, the game swung heavily Fnatic’s way, allowing the SEA squad to tie things up. Game 3 was very tense, with Fnatic relying on MidOne’s Timbersaw and Mushi’s Medusa to take them to the late game. However, Na`Vi made things very difficult with Enigma’s huge team fight potential as Ditya Ra’s Lifestealer led the charge. Fnatic were forced to make a desperate play after losing two sets of barracks late in the game, but Na`Vi took four kills and set to finishing off Fnatic’s base, forcing the GG. With the loss, Fnatic have been eliminated from The Summit 5. Na`Vi were invited to The International 6 despite finishing 7th-8th at The Manila Major compared to Fnatic’s 5th-6th. The two teams may have a chance for a rematch in next week’s StarLadder i-League Season 2, the last tournament before The International 6.
