The four finalists for the ~$100,000 NEA Beijing Electronic Sports Open taking place from July 1-3 have been determined. Just before the ESL One Cologne Major kicks off, the dates of July 1-3 will see a $100,000 event take place inside the Beijing National Stadium that will feature four Chinese teams fighting for a majority of that prize pool. The NEA Beijing Electronic Sports Open is promising approximately $100,000 (640,000 CNY) for four Chinese finalists who have advanced through an online qualification stage after the event’s announcement in early May.
TyLoo, VG.CyberZen, and two other teams will play in the “Bird’s Nest” The NEA 2016 finals will take place inside the Beijing National Stadium, which is locally known as the “Bird’s Nest” and which also memorably hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics. The format of the tournament is a best-of-three, single elimination bracket. Although the exact semifinal match-ups have not been decided, the four teams who will attend the event are:
