European professional League of Legends team Fnatic is bolstering its coaching staff before the League Championship Series playoffs, adding former Origen coaches Nicholas “NicoThePico” Korsgaard and Wolfgang “Wolle” Landes as its assistant coach and analyst, respectively,
the team announced today.
Earlier in the season, NicoThePico served as the head coach for Origen, while Wolle was an analyst for that team. Both left Origen several weeks ago as the team picked up a new head coach, former Millenium and SK Gaming jungler Alvar “Araneae” Martin Aleñar. NicoThePico and Wolle will be the newest additions to the Fnatic support staff that consists of team manager Finlay “Quaye” Stewart, head coach Luis “Deilor” Sevilla Petit, and analyst Fabien “GuySake” Ungerer. This comes as Fnatic’s second midseason adjustment as it looks to compete with the best teams in the European League Championship Series. Several weeks ago, the team dropped South Korean top laner Noh “Gamsu” Yeong-jin for Polish top laner Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek. Fnatic is currently third place in the standings of the European League Championship Series after falling to 0-2 to Splyce on Thursday. [Source: ESPN]
