Olofmeister to return for Fnatic

Esports Asia News

fnatic have revealed that their star player Olof ‘olofmeister’ Kajbjer will mark his return to activity in this week’s Group D of ELEAGUE. Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, widely considered the best player in the world (including here at HLTV.org) before he took a hiatus due to an arm injury from the game, will return to competitive play tomorrow in ELEAGUE’s Group D, the fnatic organisation have announced. Due to the player’s injury, fnatic had to make use of two stand-ins, Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen and John “wenton” Eriksson, with the latter player taking part in the $512,000 ESL Pro League Season 3 finals and generally holding his own in a 3-4th place finish for the Swedish team. However, is was apparent to many that the team had relied on Kajbjer’s aggression and form in the past, and fnatic were thus left looking slightly weaker than before. The king is back As a result of Kajbjer apparently being fit to play again, fnatic will debut at full strength tomorrow in Group D of ELEAGUE. This return also means that he will be part of their starting roster and is therefore widely expected to play at the ECS Season 1 finals later this month and at ESL One Cologne at the beginning of July. fnatic’s roster at ELEAGUE will be:
Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Robin “flusha” Rönnquist Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson Jesper “JW” Wecksell Dennis “dennis” Edman
