After SKT’s 2-1 victory over Longzhu Gamingon Wednesday, SKT’s MVP of the match, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, was invited to the post-match interview with OGN casters Lee “CloudTemplar” Hyun-woo and Kim Dong-jun. He talked about what happened before SKT’s first match against Longzhu in the split. “Before the match against Longzhu during Round 1, PraY (Kim Jong-in) and GorillA (Kang Beom-hyun) told me that they’ll be coming after me no matter what,” he said, as the casters laughed. “I met with GorillA before today’s match too, and he said the same thing, but I feel like I got payback on them, so today’s victory means that much more to me.” One of 2016’s most popular League Champions Korea teams, the ROX Tigers scattered among different LCK organizations after disbanding in November. Peanut moved to SKT, Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho to KT Rolster, PraY and GorillA to Longzhu, and Lee “KurO” Seo-haeng to the Afreeca Freecs. Smeb previously said that he feels both he and Peanut were still rather “lost” while the rest of the members of the former ROX Tigers “seem to be doing well,” a sentiment that fans have mostly agreed with, as Peanut seemed to be having some trouble adjusting to his new team at first. PraY and GorillA have been doing well on Longzhu, and though the team is currently deadlocked in fifth place with the Afreeca Freecs, as seen in the second match against SKT on Wednesday, they still are considered to be one of the better players on the team. Longzhu has also shown a dramatic increase in ability since its massive struggles last summer.
