Phoenix1 has added Jeong “Fixer” Jae Woo to their NA LCS roster, the organization announced Thursday via a press release. According to the release, the South Korean support will play alongside current support Austin “Gate” Yu, pending approval from Riot Games. So far this split, Gate has managed a 1.65 KDA and 1.35 wards-per-minute, while Fixer has been inactive since leaving KT Rolster at the end of 2015. “To come outside my comfort zone to a foreign country is daunting, but joining a really good team feels incredible,” Fixer said in the press release. “I am thrilled. I really want to show how good I am.” “Even though Fixer won’t be able to play on stage until he has his visa, I’m sure he will make an immediate positive impact on the team,” Phoenix 1 coach Charlie Lipsie stated in the press release. Currently 1-9, the team managed their first NA LCS match win in Week 5 with a 2-1 win over Apex Gaming. They face Echo Fox and Counter Logic Gaming in Week 6. [Source: TheScore]
