RNG wins LPL Finals over EDG

LoL: RNG wins the LPL RNG n a four-game series, Royal Never Give Up triumphed over EDward Gaming in the 2016 League of Legends Pro League Spring Finals at Qizhong Forest City Tennis Center. Royal Never Give Up bested EDward Gaming in most drafts and used early pressure to beat out EDG. The first game went to Royal Never Give Up after they came back from a disastrous early game. EDward Gaming managed to defeat RNG in Game 2 with a strong teamfighting composition, taking advantage of Royal’s mis-positioning in the top lane. Game 3 featured some less popular picks from Royal Never Give Up, but their kiting brought them home. In the final game, Royal turned on the jungle pressure to take the title. This is the first Final Royal Club have won in LPL history. Samsung White players Cho “Mata” Sehyeong and Jang “Looper” Hyeongseok have now built a trophy case that includes Champions Korea, the World Championship, and the LPL. They and young Chinese teammates Li “xiaohu” Yuanhao, Liu “Mlxg” Shiyu, and Wang “wuxx” Cheng took down powerhouse EDward Gaming and will represent the LPL at the Mid Season Invitational next month.
