Royal Never Give Up announces summer split roster

Royal Never Give Up’s summer split roster features a returning face who was part of the team’s 2016 spring split triumph. Royal Never Give Up announced its roster Saturday ahead of the League of Legends Pro League summer split through its official Weibo account. The final choices included one top lane substitute, one jungle substitute, and two AD Carry substitutes. One of the two AD Carry substitutes is Wang “Wuxx” Cheng, who played with RNG last spring, when the team won the LPL championship, and then acted as a substitute in the bot lane during the summer split. He moved to Royal Club for the most recent spring split, where he played in China’s secondary league. With bot laner  Jian “Uzi” Zi-hao subbed out due to health concerns during the spring, the two substitutes seem to be aimed toward refining potential issues that might arise in the bottom lane, especially with the addition of Wuxx, who was part of RNG’s last LPL championship. The roster for RNG heading into the summer split consists of top laners Tong “Koro1” Yang and Yan Letme Jun-ze, junglers Liu “Mlxg” Shi-Yu and Hu “Y1HAN” Zhi-Wei, mid laner Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao, AD Carries Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao, Wuxx, and Wang “y4” Nong-Mo, and support Shi “ming” Sen-Ming.
