Selfless Gaming have added Canadian player Connor ‘Connor’ Glover as their fifth ahead of the team’s appearance in ELEAGUE Group B this coming week. North American team Selfless, who have previously breached the top 20 of our Global Rankings, have recently been considered one of their region’s fastest rising teams as they finished 13-9 in the ESL Pro League Season 3 (sixth place) and debuted at several offline tournaments with their new additions Mitch “m1tch” Semago and Noah “Nifty” Francis earlier in the spring. However, the offline debuts did not go as planned, with Selfless bombing out in 7-8th place at CEVO Gfinity Season 9 finals and 5-6th place at DreamHack Austin. Following an even more disappointing fourth place finish at the MLG Americas Minor, Michael “Uber” Stapells stepped down from the team’s active roster and moved to a backup role. With Selfless chosen as TyLoo’s replacement for Group B of the $1.4 million ELEAGUE Season 1 last week, the race was on to find a new fifth member and the organisation have now announced the addition of Canadian player Connor “Connor” Glover for the duration of ELEAGUE and noted the possibility of extending his contract into the future. Glover’s past includes stints for the likes of Vault, ACE Gaming, and recently Bee’s Money Crew, with the final listed team being partly powered to victory by Glover over an Echo Fox mix at Fragadelphia 8 two weekends ago. In addition, Selfless have announced that they have dispensed with the services of Richard “Lucky” Vasconcelos as their backup player as the 21-year-old will focus on his university work instead. Selfless’ roster is now: Michael “MAiNLiNE” Jaber
Skyler “Relyks” Weaver
Mitch “m1tch” Semago
Noah “Nifty” Francis
Connor “Connor” Glover Michael “Uber” Stapells (backup)
Steve “Ryu” Rattacasa (coach)
Jared “Oso” Hartman (analyst) [Source: HLTV]
