Selfless to start Brehze, Slemmy at WESG

Esports Asia News
Selfless Gaming will field Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Alec “Slemmy” White at WESG, the organization announced Monday. WESG will be Brehze’s last tournament with Selfless, as he was transferred to NRG Esports for the 2017 season. Meanwhile, this will be Slemmy’s first game with Selfless, though the organization stated he is not yet a final member of the roster but is likely to stay with the team after WESG. “The new name on the list, Slemmy, will be leading the team at the event, providing the in-game leadership and bringing a new level of structure to the team,” Selfless owner Steve “Ryu” Rattacasa stated in a press release. “While we are still working through some roster options for the rest of the events and into 2017, we believe that Slemmy will remain as the 4th member of our team.” Slemmy last played for Cloud9, before being taken off the active roster in August, when he was replaced by Timothy “autimatic” Ta. Slemmy initially joined C9 as a replacement for Ryan “fREAKAZOID” Abadir, and will be Selfless’ in-game leader at WESG. Selfless are in Group D at WESG 2016, along with JYP Gaming, Dark Passage, Team Quetzal, TyLoo and .Ukraine. Selfless qualified for the event by taking first place in the Americas Qualifier with a 2-1 victory over Canadian team subtLe.
