[hkes_show_google_ad] Team EnVyUs started their NA LCS run without newly acquired jungler Nam “Lira” Tae-yoo, as he was be unable to compete in the team’s first week due to visa issues. In an interview with Yahoo’s Travis Gafford, Shin “Seraph” Woo-yeong shared his thoughts on the team’s current state and its future with Lira. “I’m pretty sure if we played our right roster with Ninja mid, we could knock [FlyQuest] down in 20 minutes both games, I think,” Seraph said confidently. “I think Lira is the best jungler and he’s going to crush everybody — I’m sure of it.” Starting mid laner Noh “Ninja” Geon-woo has made the hard transition to jungle in Lira’s absence. With Ninja in the jungle, substitute mid Alexey “Alex Ich” Ichetovkin has stepped up as the team’s mid laner. “He has a lot of experience as a solo queue jungler,” said Seraph about Ninja, “but today was the first [competitive] game for him. I’m pretty appreciative for him, because he didn’t freeze and he didn’t tilt, so he played pretty well.” Seraph expected the role swap would hinder their performance, but expressed that the team did not expect to go 0-2 to start the season. Still, he remains optimistic about their future matches and Lira’s return. “I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a reverse. We’re going to be slowly starting but, in the end, we’re going to win every game.” [hkes_show_google_ad]
