ShoWTimE wins WCS Spring Circuit Championship

Tobias “ShoWTimE” Sieber has won the 2016 WCS Spring Circuit Championship at DreamHack Open: Tours with a 4-3 win over Artur “Nerchio” Bloch. The victory is easily the biggest of the German Protoss’ career. He brings home the $35,000 grand prize, 3,000 WCS Circuit Points, and earns a direct spot at the 2016 WCS Global Playoffs and Finals. On his way through the bracket, ShoWTimE took down both Maru “MaSa”Kim and Kim “viOLet” Dong Hwan in convincing 3-0 series. Choi “Polt” Seong Hun, winner of the Winter Circuit Championship, was taken down by Nerchio on the opposite side of the bracket and didn’t face ShoWTimE on his way to the Grand Finals. The other players who have already earned direct spots to the finals include Joo “Zest” Sung Wook, Park “Dark” Ryung Woo and Choi “Polt” Seong Hun. One more player will be selected at the Summer Circuit Championship and another five through points standings, while WCS Korea will send two more players through SSL and GSL events and four from points standings.
