SKT barely gets any time off?

SK Telecom T1 support Lee “Wolf” Jae-wan says SKT barely gets any time off, and when he does, he doesn’t even think about League of Legends. After SKT’s 2-1 win against the Afreeca Freecs in Sunday’s League Champions Korea match, Wolf said in a video interview with Fomos he likes to spend time with his dog to relieve some of the stress he feels. “I don’t play League on my days off,” he said. “We have about three to five days off per month. If I play then, too, I might get overloaded.  I play games I want to play other than League or eat some good food. (My dog) Winter is at home right now, and sleeping with him on the bed really helps me with stress.” Sunday’s win moves SKT  into a tie with Samsung Galaxy and KT Rolster for the first place in the LCK with a record of 5-1. When asked how he felt about that, Wolf said that they’ll “need to practice a lot in order to preserve this spot,” and that many of their weaknesses were made apparent against Afreeca. In his words, the feeling was “bittersweet.” For Wolf, it seems like chasing first place is just as helpful for him as being in first, as he described his preference of the chase giving him a unique sense of motivation. “I think that as long as you’re not too low in the standings, it can really help giving you a mindset that wants to improve, so it’s not so different from being No. 1,” he said. SKT will move on to play the Jin Air Green Wings on Tuesday before facing the ROX Tigers on Thursday as the LCK schedule moves into Week 4.
