SK Telecom T1 have signed mid laner Kim “Sky” Ha-neul following his departure from CJ Entus.
Sky joins SKT shortly after they completed their primary lineup with the signing of Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon for top lane on Dec. 1. The new mid will likely spend much of the season looking over the shoulder of the legendary Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, who re-signed with the team last month for an offer that was “worth staying in Korea for.” Sky joined CJ in December 2015 and rotated with Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong through the spring and summer splits, but after the team performed poorly and were relegated to Challengers Korea at the end of the summer, he was released along with the rest of the lineup. Sky finished the summer regular season with a KDA of 2.3 across 17 games, the lowest of all mid laners in league that season. He also had the lowest earned gold per minute at 238.6, and second-lowest 10-minute gold deficit at -148.
