Team ROCCAT announced Monday the signing of Milo “Pridestalker” Wehnes to be the team’s starting jungler for the summer split of the European League of Legends Championship Series, pending Riot Games approval. Pridestalker played for Misfits Academy in the spring and helped his team qualify for the European LCS last month. He’s known for being strong on Rengar and will play in his first LCS split. He will replace Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian,” who signed with Misfits, in the jungle. “Pridestalker was our first choice, matching our philosophy of finding young players with a high ceiling,” the team wrote in a Facebook post. “Like Wadid and Phaxi, we are confident that our coaching staff and core team will help him reach his full potential, elevating our game to the next level.” Pridestalker will join Ambrož “Phaxi” Hren, Felix “Betsy” Edling, Petter “Hjarnan” Freyschuss and Kim “Wadid” Bae-in in the ROCCAT lineup. ROCCAT has endured an up-and-down tenure in the European LCS. It finished third in Group A last split with a 6-7 record. That came after ROCCAT finished last during the 2016 summer split and had to win two best-of-five matches — after winning only two games all season — to retain its spot in the LCS.
