Tempo Storm have signed Diego “Quas” Ruiz, Jamie “Sheep” Gallagher and Kevin “Zentinel” Pires to their Challenger Series roster, the organization announced Sunday. Quas last played in the top lane for NRG during the 2016 NA LCS Summer Split. Quas ended that split with a 1.9 KDA, the second lowest among all NA top laners who played more than 40 games that season. NRG placed ninth in the regular season with a 4-14 record, and were relegated to the Challenger Series after a 3-0 loss to Echo Fox in the Spring Promotion tournament. Zentinel last played for Phoenix1, as the team’s substitute jungler while Rami “Inori” Charagh was settling visa issues. Sheep last played for Cloud9 Tempest, retiring from competitive play in January. While with C9T, the team placed fourth in the 2015 NA CS Spring and Summer Playoffs. Tempo Storm recently signed Ales “Freeze” Knezinek and Jorgen “Hatrixx” Elagen, and stated in the press release that they are still working on signing their coaches and analysts. The organization purchased Dream Team’s NA CS spot in November.
