Team SoloMid have secured first seed in the NA LCS headed into playoffs, and Immortals have settled for second following TSM’s 2-0 victory over IMT on Friday. TSM currently hold a 16-1 record in the NA LCS, while Immortals hold a 15-2 record. If TSM lose their second match this week against NRG Esports and Immortals defeat Phoenix1, TSM would still win the tiebreaker, guaranteeing first place. With third place team Cloud9 currently holding a 10-6 record, it is impossible for Immortals to lose their second place seed into the 2016 Summer Split Playoffs. As a result both TSM and IMT are guaranteed a playoff bye, while the third through sixth-place seeds will have to battle through quarterfinals. TSM finished the second game dramatically, as Doublelift’s Sivir secured a Penta Kill to end the series.
