The first upset had made its way to reality at SL i-League StarSeries Finals, as TyLoo surprised Natus Vincere with a 16-10 win on Mirage. TyLoo kicked off Group C of the StarSeries Finals in style, decimating Natus Vincere in the first five rounds of Mirage as CT and then winning a 3v5 in the sixth for 7-0 before their opponents took a timeout. Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev found a triple kill to get his team on the board, gaining a couple of rounds in a row. HaoWen “somebody” Xu stopped the rot quickly however, getting an ace with a saved M4 while the rest of his players were on an eco, pushing his team to a 10-2 lead. TyLoo pick up a massive win over Na`Vi Na`Vi managed to grab two more rounds before the half ended and switched over to Counter-Terrorists at 4-11, although TyLoo secured the second pistol round as well, leaving the tournament favourites in a tough position. Surviving the following forcebuy, Ke “Mo” Liu’s squad pushed to a 14-4 lead. Natus Vincere were able to delay for a few rounds, but TyLoo clinched match point at 15-7. Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács then picked up four kills ending in a 1v1 clutch, but the Chinese closed out the map eventually at 16-10.
