Virtus.pro signs P1noy as AD Carry for its League of Legends team

Esports Asia News

Virtus.pro announced Tuesday the signing of Kristoffer “P1noy” Pedersen to be the starting AD Carry of its League of Legends team. VP revealed its roster Tuesday for the League of Legends Continental League summer split, and P1noy was the only change from the spring split. He will replaceDaniel “Blasting” Kudrin. P1noy most recently played with Tricked, which disbanded after failing to qualify for the European Challenger Series over the weekend. Tricked lost 3-0 in the finals to Wind And Rain. “Kristoffer is a strong and talented player, and I am glad that he has joined our team,” VP general manager Roman Dvoryankin said in a statement. “In a way, he is still something of a dark horse in League of Legends. It’s too early to make predictions, but I hope P1noy will be able to achieve his full potential while on the Virtus.pro roster.” Virtus.pro won the LCL spring playoffs and advanced to the group stage of the Mid-Season Invitational. But VP struggled at MSI and finished last in its group. The rest of the Virtus.pro team includes Aleksandr “SaNTaS” Lifashin, Ivan “Paranoia” Tipukhov, Ilya “Kreox” Grom and Rafael “Doxy” Adl Zarabi. “P1noy is a talented guy and a great marksman,” VP captain Paranoia said in a statement. “Together, I’m sure we’ll be able to show some beautiful play. Welcome to the team!”
