The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) Finals presented by Alipay has revealed the groups for the tournament featuring 24 teams from around the globe. The WESG Finals will be held at the Olympic Center in Changzhou, China from January 12-15 with $1.5 million on the line. The format and prize distribution for the event can be found in our previous article here. We have also learnt that the Swedish team, Epsilon has replaced the former dignitas squad for the event. Due to the nationality rule, not all of the teams present will feature their full lineup unlike Virtus.pro, GODSENT and EnVyUs who will. Virtus.pro’s first event in 2017 The twenty-four teams have been split into the following groups:
